Letting Go of Wedding Stress During Wedding Planning

Letting Go Of Wedding Stress

Letting Go of Wedding Stress During Wedding Planning

Let’s face it.  You have been dreaming about this day your ENTIRE life.

Well, that is a lot of pressure to put on just one day. No wonder you are feeling stressed!

Take a deep breath, grab a glass of wine and think about this:

Of all of the brides I’ve worked with, they all have said, “I wish I hadn’t stressed over the little things so much!”

With that in mind, here are some of my best tips on letting go of your pre-wedding stress:

You Are Going To Need Help!

Whether your help comes in the form of a reliable bridesmaid, a friend or you hire a wedding planner – you need help.

It’s not realistic to do everything yourself. If your mom wants to help, let her! Delegate tasks wisely to people that you trust.  Every bride that hires a wedding planner is so happy in the end. Planners can be there to offer innovative and creative ideas.

Channel Your Stress

Turn those pre-wedding nerves and stress into something productive.

One bride used that energy to train for her first half marathon, which she completed two weeks before her wedding. It was a great way for her to focus on getting in shape and finding a purpose for her extra adrenaline.

You don’t have to run a marathon, but take some of your bridesmaids to a Pilates or yoga class and learn to breathe your way through the stress.

Remember What It’s All About

Lots of brides look back and think what a great wedding they had, but they don’t even remember having much time with their husband.  You are there because you’ve finally found the love of your life and are ready to spend the rest of your life with him.

Don’t forget to let go of everything and just take some time to cherish the moment together.

If letting go of your wedding stress seems impossible.  Give me a call to see how I could help.  Remember, you can’t do it all yourself and maybe just a little help would be the answer.
