Brittany and Chris are a Chicago-based couple with UW-Stevens Point college roots, and they hired us to plan their Stevens Point wedding. It was a great choice for them to hire a wedding planner based out of the town of their wedding venue, because it allowed us to use our thorough knowledge of the area and local, trusted vendors. We think the world of these two! What a joy to plan their wedding, and their wedding was made even more special by picking two gems of Stevens Point for their wedding venues: UWSP’s Schmeeckle Reserve and Muse at Sentry.
When it came time for the first look, we were excited to use the gorgeous space outside SentryWorld to let Brittany and Chris see each other for the first time. This space was also the perfect spot to exchange vows for the first time and let the jitters out before the ceremony in front of EVERYONE!
The Schmeeckle Reserve ceremony had perfect September weather, champagne for all, and grounding, lovely natural space under the pavilion. Schmeeckle Reserve built an amphitheater in the past few years, making outdoor wedding ceremonies under the pines of Wisconsin easy and beautiful. With the addition of music by The Silvas, this ceremony and the mingling time was delightful!
We love Muse – this restaurant at Sentry is swanky and glam – the perfect party spot for this wedding reception. We don’t have to do anything to it to make it beautiful and ready for a wedding reception! Many thanks to the staff at Sentry for helping us carry out a gorgoeus reception.
