Bride & Groom in an intimate enbrace on their wedding day.

We had most of Courtney & Ben’s wedding plans set until the Covid pandemic turned everything upside down.  With their wedding venue closed, they decided they still want to move forward with getting married and have a small intimate wedding on their private property.

We had to go back to the drawing board not only planning a new kind of event from an indoor event to a fully outdoor private property event.  Then add the difficulty of planning a wedding in the midst of a worldwide pandemic and all of it’s uncertainty.  Courtney and Ben stayed strong and knew being married was the goal.  I would say looking back that they had some very difficult and stressful moments but never wavered from the goal of being husband and wife.

"We are SO beyond happy/ thankful that we were able to celebrate with our loved ones even though it was much smaller than planned. We are truly thankful for technology to help our friends and family celebrate from afar!"

Wedding Ceremony

Some of those memorable elements of us that made this wedding event so personal. Ben & Courtney did their First Look at the very spot Ben proposed to Courtney.  Also their LOVE for animals. Their ring bearer was their sweet dog Motley and during the wedding reception Ben surprised Courtney with a visit from a local farmer with some very cute cows.  Courtney was over-the-moon just look at her smile.

Courtney & Ben’s private property wedding in Amherst, Wisconsin was a beautiful event in the midst of a  pandemic. However these two made the best of it. Their celebration was meaningful with lots of timeless details.
