I (Marsha) thoroughly enjoyed planning with Danielle & Cody. Danielle had her ducks in a row, that’s for sure! These two wanted to have a relaxed, beautiful, DIY wedding, and we were able to partner together to make their camp wedding vision come to fruition. Danielle did a beautiful job thinking thoughtfully about every element of the wedding, and each corner was touched with something personal and intentional. She brought me into the planning process early, which allowed for a seamless and fun planning partnership! As a planner, she was a dream – she meticulously filled out the planning spreadsheets so we could follow them down to the detail. She spoke my language!

Danielle & Cody chose to have a first look where they could sneak away, take each other in, and share letters to each other before the wedding day really revved into high gear. This time is always precious, and it was so special to be a fly on the wall!
Camp Alexander
Danielle and Cody hale from Central Wisconsin, and they wanted to have a local camp venue that could accommodate their families to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful wedding day outside together. Camp Alexander was the perfect venue choice, complete with an indoor reception space that could accommodate their guest count.
Thanks to Cody & Danielle’s thoughtfully constructed wedding timeline and their attention to family-friendliness, this camp wedding was a complete blast for all involved. Their three children were able to thrive in this fun, relaxed outdoor environment and had plenty of space to play, enjoy, and be kids on such an important day in their family’s story!
The Wedding Party
Danielle and Cody’s wedding was a special wedding for their family, and their three children were involved in each part of the wedding day. They chose a romantic color palette that really popped with the natural backdrop.
The Reception
In terms of decor, this lovely reception space was personalized by many DIY decor elements. We loved the interactive feel of the telephone guest book where guests could leave an audio message for the bride and groom on a classic pink phone! The family-friendly choice of having cupcakes also made for a very cute dessert table. The camp atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and a pleasure to design and execute.
