Meet Haley & Paul.
Haley and Paul wanted to have a meaningful and beautiful wedding day in a town very special to them: Waupaca, Wisconsin. The lovebirds live in Minneapolis but knew that they wanted to have a ceremony in Haley’s parent’s cottage on the Waupaca Chain ‘o Lakes, and lucky for us all, the weather was perfect for a backyard lakefront ceremony.
Haley’s family spent their summers at the cottage and they have so many sweet memories on this property – so they knew they wanted to choose it as their ceremony venue. They wanted a romantic and classic wedding that also felt modern – olive greens and earth tones, and classic wedding neutrals. The design turned out lovely and summery – perfect for this nostalgic wedding.
The Ceremony: Lakefront on the Waupaca Chain
Lucky for us, the Johnson home was a delightful space for a backyard wedding on the lake. We set up the chairs, orchestrated the events of the day, and mother nature took care of the rest.
The Reception: Dane's Hall
For Haley and Paul’s reception, they opted for the beautiful and historic Dane’s Hall in downtown Waupaca – the perfect spot with ample natural light and beautiful architecture, great accommodations and amenities, and the perfect classic vibe. With personal touches like their dog’s face on their cocktail napkins and thoughtfully chosen wedding vendors, the reception was the time to shine and celebrate a job well done.
