Stress-Free Wedding Checklist

Wedding checklistMy question for you as your wedding day draws near:  Are you ready?  Are you worried that you will forget something?  Are you wondering what all needs to be done?  Worry no more!  I have put together a simple wedding checklist to assist you in the last week or two before your wedding day.  It will ensure you do not forget any of those all important details.

A Stress-Free Wedding Checklist

  • Confirm your final guest count with your wedding coordinator, the caterer and your wedding venue.
  • Follow up with guests who haven’t RSVP’d.  There will be a few that don’t come in.  A reminder call is fine to ensure not to miss anyone that is planning to attend.
  • Double check your placecards and make sure they match your table layout.  Finalize table layout and send it to your wedding coordinator and caterer.
  • Give photographer and videographer an outline of your image requests.
  • Organize and label your boxes or bins with all your wedding items.  This will help in making setup easier for the ceremony and the reception, especially if they are in different locations.
  • Create a contact list of phone numbers for all of your wedding day vendors.  Give the list to your wedding coordinator or your personal attendant.
  • Label separate envelops for final payments.  Designate someone who will be in charge of handing out the payments on the day of the wedding.
  • Contact all wedding vendors to confirm final arrangements.
  • Send your immediate family and your wedding party a wedding weekend itinerary to make sure everyone knows when and where they should be.  I guarantee it will lessen the amount of texts you will receive throughout the weekend.
  • Prepare all your thank you gifts and cards.
  • Put together a wedding day emergency kit.
  • Pick up your marriage license.
  • Do full wedding dress rehearsal from underwear to veil.  Don’t forget to pack some comfortable shoes for your wedding reception.
  • Schedule a haircut, manicure or massage.
  • Pack an overnight bag for your wedding night.
  • Pack for your honeymoon.
  • Spend some relaxing time together just the two of you.  Go get some coffee or ice cream, make reservations to go out to dinner or watch a movie.
  • Get plenty of sleep and extra rest.
