Angela and Keegan love camping together, and seek out being outside together as much as they can. It was important to them to have their wedding at an actual campground with all their dearest friends and family, and they opted for a wedding weekend at Camp Elsewhere in Waupaca, Wisconsin, which we happen to think is an incredible venue! Enjoy the blog chronicling this beautiful day, complete with photos from the lovely and generous Peyton Medick Photography.

This wedding day at Camp Elsewhere had an enchanted, magical feel deep in the forest, and the classic elegance of their wedding design made their day feel grounded and beautiful. Angela and Keegan chose colors often found in nature, like burgundy, moss, mulberry, and ivory, and in their words, “We chose those colors for the simple fact that they tickle our brains.” Delightful!!
Angela wore gloves from her mother’s wedding along with her mother’s necklace wrapped around her bouquet. Her bouquet also sported a charm featuring their cat, Joey, as the bride’s “something blue”. Keegan’s wedding ring is from his maternal grandfather. We loved all these thoughtful, personal family touches that added significance to their wedding!

Camp Elsewhere is home to lakefront property, tall pines, and cozy camping accommodations for the happy couple and their guests. This incredible venue had so many beautiful nooks and crannies to find for beautiful photos and places to rest for guests. Not to mention a great spot for Old Fashioned Photo Bus to park – the cutest yellow bus I’ve ever seen, decked out as a photo booth on the inside! This interactive bus was such a fun, whimsy element to the celebration.

And then, it was time to celebrate. The wig wall set the tone for the reception with wigs available for guests to dance with a rad accessory. It really got people out on the dance floor!

Any wedding takes a great team of vendors to execute a beautiful and seamless wedding day, but this is especially true at an outdoor camp venue! This small but mighty vendor team did a beautiful job working together at every point of the planning process and we are grateful to each of you for a job well done.
